AISMAC Foundation Project Founder

My Name is Byaruhanga Denis, founder of AISMAC Foundation. I am a social entrepreneur with a very deep concern for children and youth from poor Backgrounds in Uganda. Every child in Africa is born with big dreams and Potential inside them just as I was. I realized its almost impossible for such dreams to come to pass without the help of somebody.

Over years, education has proven to be one of the sure ways through which childhood dreams can be realised. Nelson Mandela said, “Education is a great Engine of Personal development, its through education the daughter of a peasant can become a doctor, the son of a mine worker can become the head of the mine, that a child of peasant can become the president of a great nation”,
Loosing my parents at 4 years, raised by peasant grandparents and guardians who could only afford lunch and supper for us, created a strong desire in me for helping many other children who desire to be somebody someday but without anybody to help them achieve it. Read My Story

According to statistics, almost half of the children in Uganda especially rural areas who begin Primary school drop before P7. And half of those that complete P.7 do not go any further for professional qualification or vocational skills. They majorly end up with casual jobs for mere survival, early marriages, housemaids, prostitution, among others.

At AISMAC foundation we are committed to empowering and supporting the youth in the communities in which we operate by providing opportunities to learn, grow and acquire life and vocational skills for a better livelihood and future. We cannot achieve much on our own but with your support we can make a big difference. .
